"Thoroughbred racing returns to the picturesque Wyndham Racecourse on Friday.
The Wyndham Racing Club's annual meeting is always popular with people of the Lower Mataura Valley. The feature race on the programme will be the $12,000 Wyndham Cup, of 2000m.
Christchurch trainer Shane Marr hopes to bring four horses to the meeting, including Wyndham Cup candidate Jardena.
The grey Kashani mare clinched a Cup start by winning over 2000m at Gore eight days ago."
